Task Manager Memory over 2.5m when playing any game?

Hello,



I'm using windows 7, 8GB of Ram



Whenever I start up any game whether it be on Steam or Battlenet my computer instantly starts to slow down and is constantly lagging mid game. This has never happened before and only started happening a few weeks ago. Whenever I check my Task Manager the memory is always higher than 2.5m!



No idea how to fix this, Just wondering if had any answers towards this problem?
